I%26#39;ve narrowed it down to these three:
www.vacationinparis.com/apts/id_205.htm
www.vacationinparis.com/apts/id_122.htm
http://www.rentparis.com/appart-en-24.html
We are a family with 2 older teenagers.
I appreciate any comments on the apts or area or agency.
especially the first one -- can%26#39;t find any reviews on that one, and i really like it!
thanks!

I have rented from Vacation in Paris and thought they were great. Responded to emails within 24 hrs. One advantage of this agency is they mail your keys to you and directions etc. They only charge 150 for a key deposit which is returned within a week after they receive the keys back.
Of the three apts. I would choose 205 one, it looks lovely, it is larger and in a great area. Lots of restaurants, Rue Rambuteau is a market street which is nearby. 10 min. walk to Notre Dame, Easy to walk to the left bank. I would not hesitate to rent this apt.

I like # 205 too. It%26#39;s bright, big which is great with 4 people sharing, and in a really good area. Also a very good price. You a have a full oven which is I think, very important. So much better than just a microwave. I rented an apt very near this one with VIP and had a positive %26amp; pleasant experience with them. Have a blast!

No comparison. I love 205.
I don%26#39;t really like lofts or stone walls (cold feeling).
I love 205. Enjoy!

ok, so we all agree!
should i not be worried that i can%26#39;t find a single review of this property anywhere on the web?
would you guys just rent it anyways?
thanks so much for taking the time to look and help!!

I can%26#39;t tell you what to do. I found an apartment on the internet and I just rented it--didn%26#39;t even look for reviews. My back and forth with the owner gives me confidence that it will be okay. Call it intuition.
Anyway, that is your call. If you %26quot;bump%26quot; it a couple of times, perhaps someone will respond who stayed there. The other thing to do is to ask the owner for reviews and see what you get. It might be better than nothing.

I think I%26#39;d go with #205 just because of the twin beds. Older teenagers can%26#39;t be thrilled with the idea of sleeping together on a pullout sofa in the living room. The price is terrific too.
|||
Have you looked at some of the VIP two bedroom apartments? Some of them are the same price. The twin beds in that apt. are in an alcove, and it looks like they possibly might be fold-up type beds. Of the three, 205 is def. the best.
You could probably ask VIP for some references from people that have rented that apt. It is possible that it is newly on the market.
If you need some more suggestions for two bedroom short stay apartments, maybe you could give a few more details of your trip.

Well, DD20 and I rented with Vacation In Paris for our trip last month. We rented #191 which is in the 4th. Actually on Ile St. Louis.
We received our security deposit back about a week after we returned home. I will use this company again on our next trip!

Hi,
We stayed in no.122 last year, and IMO it would definitely be too small for the 4 of you, esp with older teenagers. The downstairs area is tiny. 205 looks good.

I don%26#39;t know about your family, but we all need to go to the bathroom at the same time. We were in Paris at Thanksgiving with my 23 year old son and 17 year old son. We rented the la Madeline gourmet apt. It is a large apartment with four separate beds to choose from. Could not imagine having only one toliet!
