1. The attractions in Paris are spread out, and no hotel will be close to all of them. The Eiffel Tower is some distance away from most of the other sights of interest to tourists. For hotels, try looking through the TA listings.
2. Most Paris sights sell tickets at the door, so travel agents cannot book them for you.
3. How to get to your hotel from CDG depends on which hotel you choose.
4. You can buy one-day transport tickets: see www.ratp.fr

Since you seem to be unwilling to get/read a good guide book, go to www.venere.com for hotels.

1BC lacks tact, but Venere is your best place to look: you can sort by area or price.
|||
If you like a Hotel on the Venere site,just check the Hotels official site on Google as often you will get cheaper rates by going directly through the Hotel.
What is your budget in Euros per night for a Hotel? If you post the amount here it will give people a better idea of what to recommend.
Good luck with your planning.

My recent experience is that tourism is down in Paris and hotels are looking for customers. Find a hotel you like, call or e-mail the hotel and negotiate a rate with them.
For instance, a 3-star boutique hotel I am staying at (I won%26#39;t name it here) had a posted rate of 145 euro per night. After a few e-mails back and forth we agreed to 110 euros a night, they threw in a night for free, and free breakfast.
You can probably do just as well with apartments, maybe better, because they will always negotiate with you.

thanks for suggestion I will look into your suggestion.
