CDG to hotel & further transport for 4 days

Hi

Travelling to Paris on Thurs 2 April til Sunday 5th. Staying at Les Trois Poussins in rue Clauzel. Arrive at CDG around lunchtime. From other posts here think best transport into city is RER Line B - probably to Gard du Nord, then Metro?

We will want to use the metro for the rest of our stay %26amp; then transport back to airport on Sunday afternoon. Any advice on best tickets/carnet to buy %26amp; if route above is best way to hotel.

Thanks

It would be easier if you took the Air France coach to the Arc de T (Etoile), then metro line 2 to the Pigalle stop. From there it is about 300-350 meters walk (5 min or less). There isn%26#39;t a nice straightforward connection from Gare du Nord to your location. You follow the signs at CDG to ground transport and AF pickup point, buy ticket from the driver. At Etoile, you do walk around the circle a few streets, go down the escalator to the Metro/RER station to buy the metro ticket.

Your visit doesn%26#39;t coincide with a Carte Orange pass. You%26#39;d probably do fine with carnet(s) - if you%26#39;re burning thru them too quickly, then you can buy a %26#39;dayticket%26#39; called Mobilis for just under 6€ for zones 1-2 (Paris). The AF ticket will cost around 13-14€ one way, slight discount if you buy r/t ticket. Or, you could take the RER to Gare du Nord, then just get a taxi to the hotel (for est. 6-8€ or so...
