Staying at the Mercure on Promenade Des Anglais. From the airport, which bus do we need, and do we need to have the correct fare? Am I right in thinking we get off at the Casino stop?
Thanks.

Its preferable to have the right change [4euros per person ] but the driver will be ok with a 10 or a 20 but will not be happy with anything bigger.
You can buy tickets at a little booth/office thing that also deals with parking they are probably happier with big notes than the bus driver.
nb You can change notes at a machine in the arrivals while waiting for your luggage
You need bus 98

Congres/promenade would be the closest stop

Thanks for your help, we will make sure we have the correct fare for the driver!

Good hotel choice. If you decide to skip the rather pricey buffet breakfast, the street off the hotel lobby has a number of cafés; farther down, the rue Masséna is café/restaurant heaven.
Try la Pizza and/or O%26#39;Palermo for lunch or dinner.
The little beverage bar called Le Yummie, just a few feet to the left of the hotel entrance as you face it, is very pleasant: excellent coffee and tea and a friendly owner.

Watch out for Negresco Hotel, when you pass that then press the stop button, bus will stop at congress stop. Your hotel is slightly up to right accross the road. Entrance to hotel is up a few yards on rue halevy (the casino ruhl building).

Yes Cattallus, I see that you have reccomended the Mercure on several posts and decided that as you sounded such a good guy I would give it a go!!
Seriously though, I did a little bit of research and decide it was the hotel choice for myself and my daughter. We have been to Nice before but it%26#39;s always good to get feedback from others on where to eat etc. It%26#39;s especially valuable at the moment the way the £ is, but that%26#39;s another debate.
Thanks again.
