New Hotel Opera

Wife and I are thinking of staying in the New Hotel Opera, April 09. Any pro%26#39;s or con%26#39;s on the hotel?

Also are there any good, but not too expensive rest. in the neighborhood?

Not our first time to Paris,but last time was a package deal, so limited choises on Hotels. We stayed at Demi Vendome (not the expensive Vendome aross the street) and were happy with location and condition of hotel.
