Trying to decide where to stay. On Rue Cler at Grand Hotel Leveque or in the Latin Quarter at either Home Latin Hotel or the Best Western La Tour Notre Dame? Which area is easiest to get from CDG airport by train hopefully? (the least expensive route) Thank you. This will be my and my son%26#39;s first visit to paris. We are an airline family traveling on stand by and just hoping for a decent place to stay in a safe area close to several attractions. Thank you.

No question - La Tour Notre Dame is the best of those 3 and is just out of the St Michel RER station (20 rue Sommerand). (about 400 meters / 8-10 mins walking, no transfers to other lines)
The Home Latin is same area but not quite as nice in the reviews as La Tour ND.
The rue Cler / Eiffel area is more troublesome to reach using public transportation.

Hi wolfgirl--I agree with travelnutty--the BW Tour Notre Dame--nice relaxed area, but still with good markets and very accessible by metro.
