Bringing high school group to France! Help!

My son%26#39;s high school French Club is traveling to France next year%26#39;s spring break. The French teacher says she thinks it will be about $2400 each student. I%26#39;ve travelled to Europe much and that is a lot of money. Does anyone know of an airline that will give a student or group discount and youth hostels in France and site passes and transportation passes for student groups? Also, with only a week in France, I%26#39;m thinking the group should stick to Paris, Chartres, Versallias (sp) Any thoughts? The caves with prehistoric drawings in the south would be great too? Maybe the WW11 graves in Normandy?

Our School group used ACIS. They are a group that specializes in student travel all over the world.

www.acis.com

We did the french fler de lis.

Paris

rouen

honfleur

trouville

d day beaches

st malo

mont st michel

Saumur

chartres

paris

It was a 10 day mostly inclusive execept lunches and snacks. all hotels were 3 star and all had lifts and hairdryers! I am not remembering the exact price but I am thinking it was about 3200 in 2007.

I would highly recommend you all looking in to this agency. We all parents and kids alike throughly enjoyed every minute. Our guide Tim Godby was superb. He is from London and the jids hung on every word. I think his accent made it seem more exotic :)

Good luck

oops we did go to versailles

With air fare at 1000 and 3 star hotels going at 150 Euro a night with no breakfast included it really is a good deal.

I am in the midst of planning a family trip over and only wish we could this good a deal. Our trip was 10 days

sorry one more thing

I think our teacher chose the trip early so we were able to hold on to the current year rates. ACIS also has a payment plan with no interest which is also very helpful. The trip does have to be paid for before you leave
