This is my first post on trip advisor. We are planning a five day trip in mid July 2009. We have been doing our research and have narrowed it down to these five hotels:
1. Hotel Andre Latin St. Michel
2. Hotel Elysa Luxembourg
3. Hotel de la Bourdonnais
4. Hotel Palais Bourbon
5. Vendome St. Germain
We would appreciate any feedback on these hotels as soon as possible. We will be doing all the touristy things including Disney Paris and Versailles. We are flying in to CDG and will be using the transit system. Thanks in advance

Hi, It%26#39;s unlikely that someone will have stayed at all 5 to give recommendations. I don%26#39;t know if you saw but Hotels are reviewed separately - just click on the %26quot;Paris Hotels%26quot; line on the left of the screen. You can then see all the different hotels and search out the ones you are choosing between and read lots of opinions about them. You will get far more advice than if you just wait for answers to a post.

Do they all have A/C for July? I think the Andre Latin only has it in their renovated rooms.
I%26#39;m thinking the Bourdonnais and Palais Bourbon will have the most favorable reviews in the TA hotels section...
The Hotel Elysa Luxembourg and Andre Latin would be very convenient for the RER from CDG - short walks from Luxembourg station.
For Hotel de la Bourdonnais, you%26#39;d take the Roissybus to Opera, then metro line 8 to Ecole Militaire.
For Hotel Palais Bourbon, you%26#39;d take the Air France coach to Gare Montparnasse, then metro line 13 to Varenne (a bit of walking within the Gare underground, possibly).
To reach Hotel Vendome St. Germain, take the Roissybus to Opera, then metro line 7 to Jussieu. You can walk about 400m from there.

Hotel Elysa Luxembourg is the most convenient for taking the RER B from/to CDG, it is well situated in the Latin Quarter, can walk to many sites, and the reviews on TA average 4/5 which is very good.

Thanks so much for the information. If anyone has any other hotel suggestions for 3 people in one room, please let us know. Thanks.

Henri IV Rive Gauche has triple rooms that are generous size with good sized bathrooms (especially by Paris standards!) We had one on the top floor, and really liked it. It%26#39;s also quite close to the RER stop at St Michel, and near Notre Dame, etc. You can check out the reviews in the hotel section of this site.

FIVE days in Paris and you are going to spend two of them out of the city. What a shame.
I would pick cheapest hotel with a/c in 4th 5th or 6th arrondissmont.
