Hi all, We are taking our 14 year old daughter to Paris for a few days next week. It also happens to be my birthday later in the week so a good meal in Paris seems the order of the day. Thing is I have looked at the top reccommendations on the list and these are WAY out of my comfort zone (remembering the £ euro parity). I used to know loads of places but that goes back so many years they have probably shut down %26amp; if not I can%26#39;t remeber their names!
Can anyone reccommend a place for the 3 of us to have a fantastic meal for reasonable cost? We are staying in Hotel Valadon but are more than happy to travel around.
Thanks in advance.

What is your budget in € ?

I guess 20 - 25 euros each but less would be good!

20-25 is difficult in central Paris for a restaurant meal.
For that dort of money you have to visit the outer arrs. 19 is good for food, but you need to know the area.
Terminus Nord in front of Gare du Nord certainly gives the appearance of a belle epoque restaurant, the food isn%26#39;t bad, but the prices are a little higher than you are looking at - probably 30€ or so. http://www.terminusnord.com/endroit/ is the website, but it has annoying noises all over it (why DO French websites feel the need to inflict such %26quot;cleverness%26quot; on people?)

These would be 3 nice options in the Marais.
Le Colimacon 44 rue Vieilla du Temple lunch 17€2 or 3 course dinner 23 to 27€
Monjul 28 rue des Blanc lunch 14 to 18€ 3 course dinner 29€
Innamorati Cafe 57 rue Charlot lunch special 15€ 3 course dinner 30€ Our favorite, fusion of Italian and Provence cooking.
There are 100%26#39;s of reaaly good restaurants in Paris, but the pre fixed menus for dinner would be from 25 to 33€. You can mix it up, someone orders an appetizer, another a dessert and split. Le Colimacon is a very nice restaurant and I think the 23€ pre fixed menu is just for 2 choices, a main entree and an appetizer or dessert.
Scroll down 6 restaurants on this web site to see this restaurant.

Thanks everyone. We will certainly give one of these a try.
