holiday destination in Brittany?

We%26#39;re thinking of hiring a gitte/villa in Brittany this May. I%26#39;ve never really been to France before, so after some advice.

The logistics are, we have my parents flying into Rennes, then me and husband and daughter, along with his parents need to get there from Norwich. Haven%26#39;t decided yet, but if we fly we%26#39;ll come into Dinard airport.

So does anyone have any location ideas for our villa? Not too far (2 hrs max) from either airport would be ideal.

Is there a %26quot;must see%26quot; area?

Is there enough to keep everyone from this wide age group happy. Mainly the oldies like strolling round pretty places, cafes ect. Nothing too strenuous!

Thanks

Michele

Why not Dinan? It%26#39;s a charming medieval town with a River Port sprinkled with creperies and seafood restaurants reasonabily priced. Lots to see and walk in Dinan. Quite hilly though. The view of the port up from the castle is breathtaking. You can make day trips to nearby cosy villages such as Jugon-le-Lacs or Lehon.
