I just learned this today when I called a friend in Paris..He said that business will slwo down for the next coupld of weeks. I suppose many leave town on holiday.
He also told me that it was cold/snowing.....

That%26#39;s true, gracejoan. I can see cars down in the street being loaded with skis, coats, bags and bags for the trip south - it seems nearly everyone is going skiing, especially this year with the good snow. I have seeen this morning a few taxis loading snowbirds for the airport, but the vasy majority seem to be headed for the slopes.
The trick at this time of year is to determine which week your boss is taking and then schedule your vacation for the other week, thus creating a two week vacation for your self.
