I%26#39;m planning to rent a car on Tuesday, 10 March, to drive from Paris to Bayeux. We%26#39;ll return the following day, and will be taking the Eurostar to London. While I know I could pick up and drop off the car at Gare du Nord (with an easy route to the highway), I%26#39;m considering picking it up closer to my hotel in the 7th to avoid needing to take a taxi or haul our luggage through the Metro early in the morning. Will the driving out of the city from the 7th be difficult enough to make this a crazy idea?
Has anyone used CarRentals.com to reserve a car? The price quotes on that site seem much lower than I%26#39;m finding at AutoEurope or Europcar. Any reasons not to go with CarRentals?

Autoeurope has a three day minimum rental period so if you are renting for only 2 days, it should not be difficult to beat their pricing.
Departing Paris from the 7th is relatively easy. Decide upon a route in advance and be familiar with how to reach the Périphérique and from there to A13.
