from porte maillot to place d italie

i would like to find out the cost of a taxi from porte maillot to place d italie or how to do the journey by metro. there are six of us staying at the hotel kyriad xiii italie gobelins.

It helps if you look at a map of the Paris metro:

www.ratp.info/orienter/f_plan_ang.php…

You would take metro line 1, two stops to CdG-Etoile, then change to line 6 to Place d%26#39;Italie.

Or metro line 1 all the way to Bastille, then line 5 to Place d%26#39;Italie (end of that line).

I usually just count 1/2-1 minute per stop to get an idea.

You can do a routing on the RATP.fr site if you want specifics...
