driving to Paris

Hi,

This weekend we are driving to Paris from Germany (Nuremburg area) for a very last minute weekend getaway.

Anyone have any tips on what to expect along the way?

Most importantly -- we are going to be staying in either the 5, 6, or 7th arrondissement and we will need to park the car.

Any tips?

So far it seems we%26#39;ll pay over 20 euro per day to store the car in a garage nearby? Is this reasonable?

Or do you know of any hotels with good parking for less than 130 euro/night?

Any other news on what%26#39;s going on in Paris this Valentine%26#39;s weekend would be great too - thanks - Jess
