Hi Paris Experts,
I need an advice for my Paris Itinerary. We, a young couple (27yrs) going there for the first time and shall be relying on quick meals and not planning to spend money and time on meals. Once we are planning to visit a nice restaurant for dinner.
Day1. Arrive CDG at 6 am. Go to our hotel near Gare du Nord. Visit Sacre-O-Cour, Take a Cruise on Siene and just walk on near the Eifel/Louvre/Champ Elysees. Take a feel of city.
Day2. Since this is going to be 1st Sunday in March. we are planning to see Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe and Musse d%26#39;Orsay. Entre will be free:D
Day3. A full day at Louvre. Visit Eifel by night
Day4. Chateau de Versailles. and Mouling Rouge in the night.
Day5. Some quick shopping and off to CDG at 2 for a 5 pm flight.
------------------------------------------
I have following Qs.
1. CDG- Hotel-CDG: I am planning to take RER-Metro. I shall be very light on luggage and its going to be Sat early morning. Will that be a big pain ?
2. Metro/RER pass: Continuing on my Q1,,,since I am planning to take RER from CDG and also gonna visit Versailles, which Metro/RER pass ( for how many days too ) is more feasible and economical?
3. Museum Pass: Since I am planning to visit 3 attractions on free visit Sunday, does it makes sense to buy this pass?
4. Weather: On an average, what will be the weather in Paris on 1st March.
5. Tourist Rush: Will be there hour long queues at Louvre/Vesailles/Eifel. And what shall be the best way to beat it?
Thanks in Advance ..

I have a %26quot;friend%26quot; from Paris. I mean, is someone that I met on Couchsurfing.com, since we wanted to have some local conctacts in case we needed something or just to get info.
When I mentioned to him that I wanted to do the whole day at the Louvre, he said it is not a good idea. Doing that is exhausting and can get boring even if the person loves art. He suggested to stay 3 to 4 hours and then visit another museum or place. I will visit musse D%26#39;orsay. The impressionism is one of the most important french contributions to universal art and you can find it at the orsay.
You can always come back to the Louvre.
