Villas in France

We are wanting to take a family holiday ie 4 adults, 1 4 year old and 1 10 month old and are looking to stay in a villa with a pool and although we know we will have to hire a car we would like to keep the travelling down to a minimum for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants etc. We would like a roomy, clean comfortable villa and preferably close to an airport to again cut down the travelling time. I would appreciate any suggestions. Laney
