I did search previous post of tranportation from CDG. However, i did not find the answer to all of my question.
I would like to take the least expensive mode of transportation from CDG to Paris LeGrand Intercontinal. Also the most efficent.
I have only two days in Paris and it%26#39;s mt first time. The anxiety of waiting a long time to get in the heart of Paris will be two much for us.
We(2) are traveling with very small suit-case.

The least expensive way is by RER and Metro costing 8.40 euros. It involves an RER train from CDG airport into Paris, and a change to either another RER or a Metro (or two). But your hotel is in Rue Scribe which is where the Roissybus terminates, so I recommend you pay the extra 50 cents each and take the Roissybus for 8.90 euros to Opéra (Rue Scribe), from where you can easily walk to the hotel.
They run every 15-20 minutes from all terminals at CDG and take 45-60 minutes to reach Paris. Details at www.ratp.info/touristes/index.php…

So..if I take the Rossybus, it would not be any other connection ?
If that%26#39;s the case..that pretty straight forward !
|||
Also, where would I purchase the ticket at the airport ?
|||
The one and only bus stop for the ROISSYBUS (8,60€) is located at 11 rue Scribe, at its intersection with rue Auber.
The location of the HÔTEL PARIS-Le GRAND INTERCONTINENTAL is at 2 rue Scribe, between rue Auber %26amp; Blvd. des Capucines.
I%26#39;m not exactly certain of the walking distance between the ROISSYBUS stop at 11 rue Scribe and the lobby entrance to the Intercontinental at 2 rue Scribe....but I%26#39;d be surprised if it was more across rue Auber and more than 100 meters down (to your Right as you face the side of the Garnier Opéra) rue Scribe. What %26#39;choice%26#39; there is, is pretty much a %26#39;no-brainer%26#39;.
The pick-up points for the ROISSYBUS will be located just outside CDG arrival terminals.

Do they go like blocks here in the US ?
The Rosseybus stop @ 2 and the Hotel is @ 11, would that 9 blocks kinda sorta ?..this might be a silly question, but i%26#39;ave never been to Paris before, this will be my first trip.
|||
The Roissybus stop is about a 1 minute walk from your hotel.
|||
Google maps shows street numbers. There is no grid system. Street numbers start from 1 at the beginning and go to whatever at the end.

NO...not really...except perhaps as a personal %26#39;frame of reference%26#39; for relative distance.....as in: approximately 100 yards/meters equals about one(1) US city %26#39;block%26#39; (more or less). It isn%26#39;t any sort of %26#39;exact%26#39; measurement....just a personal %26#39;frame of reference%26#39;. As an example, if you are standing outside of CNN Center in Atlanta and someone tell you that Peachtree Center is %26#39;..only 6 or 7 blocks that way..%26#39;, you have a %26#39;frame of reference%26#39; for both approximate distance and the time it%26#39;s likely to get there.
The actual walking distance from the ROISSYBUS stop at 11 rue Scribe, to the entrance of the Hôtel Paris-Le Grand Intercontinental is approx. 170 yards.
