Hotel Help Please

Hi,

I am trying to book a suprise trip to Paris for my husband.

I have been looking at hotels for the last three days and i cant decide.

I want something central, what area%26#39;s should be look at?

Some of the hotels i have looked at are in the Latin Quarter? What is that area like?

Any suggestions on hotels would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers!

You should give more information (your profile doesn%26#39;t help much!) to get accurate advices : area choice will depend on your age range and interests, and hotel choice on your budget and tastes (trendy or classic) ?

We are a young couple.

Would like somewhere cool and trendy in a good central location, where we can eat out and have a few drinks at night.

during the day we want to visit the usual tourist area%26#39;s and maybe take in a little bit of shopping!!!

I recommend two areas: either the left bank (6th arrondissement better than 5th if you like trendy hotels, shops and bars) or the Marais (4th arrondissement).

There are a lot of trendy hotels in Saint-Germain, just browse this forum for travellers recommendations; for example:

Regarding Le Marais, you may like the hotel newly refurbished by Christian Lacroix:
