Half Board Plus question

Hi,

We are thinking of adding the half board plus option to our DLP booking.

I%26#39;ve been trawling the internet looking for info on it, I would like to know if you have to choose from a limited menu or can you choose form the standard menu? I know that you can choose a starter, main course and dessert and that you also get a sft drink.

It seems worth it if you have the full menu choice as your options, but if you can only choose from a couple of things then maybe not.

What do other people think? Would like to hear from people that have used it.

Many Thanks,

You chose from a limited menu i.e. choice of 3 starters, mains, desserts in table service restaurants or if you use them for an all you can eat buffet obv you pick and choose what you want.

If in places where it is a fixed menu and you do not like it you can then use the vouchers at their face value and purchase what you like on the menu.

BUT this is probably not a cost effective way of doing it as for example if your voucher is worth starter, main, pud and drink off the limited menu it might have a face value of say €15 which might only buy you a main and a drink off the full menu.

The disboards.com have quite a few threads on the halfboard options so might be worth looking on there.
