We are visiting Paris in June with 2 children and wondered if we are better to buy tickets for the Eiffel Tower from a Tourist Office (is this even possible and where are they situated?) or just line up at the tower and buy them on the day. My husband and I have been before and we lined up to buy tickets for approximately 45 minutes and then lined up for what seemed likes forever to wait to go up. We were assured that we had bought tickets to go right to the top of the tower, but when we got to the 2nd level (I think, it was 7 years ago)it turned out we hadn%26#39;t and where told we would have to go back down line up again, we didn%26#39;t bother.

Hi,
You can%26#39;t buy tickets in advance for the tower, you must queue up on the day and get them. The easiest way to make sure you have got tickets to the top is to take notice of the prices and make sure what you have paid corresponds with the price for the top. I think though, you were unlucky last time, usually if you make it clear you will get the tickets you want.
To avoid the queues you can walk up part of the way if you and the children are able to.
