Hi,
We are going to Paris this weekend. I can%26#39;t wait! What are the top things to see / do?
What area has nice restaurants? or can anyone recommend a good restaurant for saturday night?
Thanks

Hi Somewhat - you could type %26quot;top things to do in Paris%26quot; in the search bar for the Paris forum and you will see a lot of lists, pages and pages.
Restaurants will be especially busy on Saturday the 14th and I suggest you make a quick list and call today for reservations.

Off the top of my head, eat Berthillon ice cream, preferably IN the cafe itself on Isle St Louis. Wander the main street of the Isle and buy at the chocolate shop and fromagerie. Wander down the quays (very romantic) and read the blue plaques that tell the history of th houses and who lived in them.
See Sainte Chapelle discoverfrance.net/France/Cathedrals/Paris/S… and then see Notre Dame.
Visit the memorial to the deportation on the point behind Notre Dame.
For restaurants look at Les Bouquinistes on Quay des Augustins for a really French meal under the guidance of 3 star chef Guy Savoy www.lesbouquinistes.com ( not Saturday lunch or all Sunday, there are menus and prices on the website) and then walk around the very French Left Bank.
