Hi Janebrown

I think its a half hour from Disneylandparis, and I think You can take the RER .

This will give you detailed journeys to the Eiffel

If you pout in Disneyland, Paris in the top bit and Eiffel Tower in the 2nd you will get a drop down menu after you click search - you will need to choose the very last choice in the list

I%26#39;ve posted the route for this on another forum - I%26#39;ll dig it out when I get home for you.

|||

Ok - dug out my directions which when we went my friend was on the train behind ours so she followed them

A Mobilis ticket zones 1 -5 will cover you into and out of Paris and all your metro needs as well. Kids are half price and under 4%26#39;s are free. If I recall correctly it was 12.50 euros for a full price adult ticket.

Get the train from Marne La Vallee- red line to Chatalet les Halles.

Get off go right up the platform up the stairs and turn right again to go down the next set of stairs and get the blue line 1 stop to St Michel Notre dame. (line B heading towards final destination Robinson).

Get off at St Michel and go right and up the escalator and then left up the next escalator and get the yellow line(final destination Saint Quentin) 4 stops to Champs de Mar Tour Eiffel.

When you come out of the station turn right and the tower is right next to you. If you turn down the road just on your right there is a great cafe we always stop at.

Hi Ruthiebabie

I guess its the same way back to Marne le valle

I need a book when we go with all the saved items I have done the last couple of days, It seems like we are going to take a cheap plane to Orly at friday evening the 9 th ocktober and then stay at a hotel in Paris to 11 th then over to DisneylandParis.

And then from DLP at the 15 th with vea perhaps to Orly.

DLP to the Tower is an hour on the RER. The schedule says officially about 45 minutes, but by the time you wait for a delayed train and make a connection, it%26#39;s an hour.

This is far easier than the prior route:

Take the RER-A all the way to Charles de Gaulle-Etoile.

At Etoile, change to the #6 line, direction Nation.

Go to Bir Hakeim. You can exit at Bir Hakeim, or you can take the correspondance and walk to exit at Champ de Mars.

The Mobilis for zones 1-5 is 12,90 (you were close!) -- and kids are 50% off.

|||

(BTW, I say to exit at Bir Hakeim because Trocadero is currently closed on the #6 line for major renovations. If it were open, I%26#39;d say to exit at *either* Trocadero or Bir Hakeim.)

Trocadero brings you up across the river, so that you see the ET in all its glory, framed by the Palais de Congress...and have the gorgeous walk through the park to the Tower.

Bir Hakeim brings you up on the same side of the river, perhaps a half-kilometre from the Tower. More convenient, but the scenery coming from Trocadero is far nicer.

Thank You Sunshine

Yes we went from Marne-la-Vallee to Trocodero, it was so easy, and very close and a great view on the walk.
