Disney Paris "Francilien" Passes

Hi,

I%26#39;m travelling to Disney Paris on 15th April 2009 and intend to hit the parks for 3 days. I%26#39;ve seen various posts and excellent advice given, especially from OhadB.

However, when I look at the various ticketing sites ( I%26#39;ve looked at:- http://www.fnacspectacles.com and www.francebillet.com amongst others) it looks like the Francilien tickets all expire at the start of April.

Have I understood this right %26amp; if so, does anyone know if %26amp; when Francilien tickets after 2nd April 09 will be sold. Ideally, I%26#39;d like to have them posted to me, rather than picking them up locally (unless there%26#39;s a FNAC store near Paris CDG Airport), does anyone know how much this costs %26amp; how long it takes for the tickets to arrive?

Aside from the francilien option, is the only other alternative the disney 3 day hopper pass for £94. Although going to the parks for 3 days, I won%26#39;t need to switch between them if this helps !

Thanks in advance.

I cannot comment on the validity period of Francilien tickets. I can say that they are designed to attract local residence (Ile de France) to the park, not necessarily to those who live elsewhere. I have heard of their being mailed but not to addresses beyond the targeted market.

Clever visitors have found ways to purchase these tickets but you must pick them up at a participating FNAC (not necessarily those located outside of the Ile de France) and show the credit card that was used in their online purchase. There is a 5 day waiting period between purchase and pickup.

Yes, the Francilien is intended for local residents. We had to show proof of residency. There%26#39;s a big FNAC at Val d%26#39;Europe shopping centre, just one stop from MLV on RER-A line...but I don%26#39;t know how you%26#39;d get around the residency requirment.

It only %26#39;sort-of%26#39; expires by April 1...if you don%26#39;t get it validated by 1 April, then it expires, but as long as you%26#39;ve gone through the gates by 1 April, you%26#39;re good for the rest of the year.

I%26#39;ve seen other users be able to pick up Francilien passes without having to provide address details - can anyone confirm if this is correct?

Also, as I%26#39;m not going until 15th April, I won%26#39;t be able to validate the tickets until I arrive at the park. Would I be right in thinking that in March, a new set of tickets for 2009/2010 will be produced and available for sale?

Thanks:-)
